I have many Specialist certifications such as Reading and additional qualifications in Writing and other aspects of Literacy. I tutor at the elementary level and am not accepting Secondary students at this time.
Location: Toronto - Downtown, ON
I live in midtown Toronto but can easily access North York and Scarborough. I am happy to tutor in your home, or a quiet area such as a public library.
I have Specialist and Additional Qualifications in Reading, ESL, Secondary English, and Special Education. I have done extensive Professional Development in Math. I have a strong Literacy background so supporting struggling readers and writers is an area of interest. I've taught ESL to children and adults and I have taught Secondary English. I have taught from Grade 1 to Grade 8 in a home room capacity so I understand the scope and sequence of skills across the curriculum.
